Tribute To Benny Goodman at Carnegie Hall
A recreation of one of the most famous concerts of all time, combining big band, swing and jazz. The concert features an orchestra made up of some of the top musicians in the world, led by clarinetist Don Shelton. vocalist Nancy Osborne will recreate Martha Tilton’s hits from the Carnegie Hall show including and the angels sing.
the original concert featured such sing and jazz legends as: harry james, Gene krupa, lionel hampton, teddy wilson, bobby hackett and many others. the music recreated in this show includes one o clock jump, don’t be that way, avalon, i got rhythm, stompin at the savoy, don’t be that way, sing sing sing, blue skies and more.
