TECHAPELLA [tek-a-pell-a] - Noun
* A collaborative musical ensemble consisting of several individual a cappella groups from the Bay Area's tech world.
* An end-of-year performance that showcases the talents of the participating tech a cappella groups and brings the community together for a night of music, fun and camaraderie.

2019 is our seventh year hosting Techapella and we're so excited with how our a cappella showcase has grown!
The showcase at the Fox Theatre will be the debut Techapella performance of 2019, hosting six of our long-time a cappella groups: Googapella and Alphabeat (both from Google), The Vocal Network (Facebook), The Keynotes (Apple), InTune (LinkedIn), and Internote (a techie mix!).
The informal, non-competitive concert setting allows for participants to expand the reach of their artistic expression in a friendly, welcoming environment while exhibiting their collective talent in a vocal spectacle that has continually drawn sold-out crowds. In past years, vocal groups have performed a dynamic spread of tunes ranging from the latest pop hits to jazz and doo-wop classics. You'll even hear the occasional beat box battle.
