Fox Theatre Summer Series Presents
SciSci Science Theater
Sponsored by The San Mateo Daily Journal
Science from Scientists (SciSci) brings the exciting world of science to your kids through a live, interactive STEM-themed science theater stage show. The show features exciting STEM demonstrations and accompanying explanations of experiments, such as: elephant toothpaste, chemiluminescence, the invisible giant, and a bed of nails. Past shows have taken place at Fenway Park in Boston, MA, The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA, Joint Base Andrews in MD, and Disney World in Orlando, FL.
Also performing is Monkey Business, featuring educational and interactive experiences with a baboon, capuchin monkey, alligator, snakes and other animals. Mickey the baboon played Tom Cruise's best friend "Hey Man" in the movie "Rock of Ages."
Proceeds from this show will benefit Science from Scientists, a nonprofit that teaches and inspires the next generation by sending real-life scientists into classrooms to deliver hands-on, minds-on STEM lessons to students.
