A revelation from the depths of the soul to the farthest reaches, from the feet on the ground to the hands reaching for the sky, and from the heart to the depths of Flamenco.

Delighting audiences for over 21 years, Castro Romero Flamenco and their dance company Suite Española are regarded as one of the best and most original in the world. The Castro Romero siblings were born in Granada, Andalucía, Spain – the heart of Flamenco. They are founders, choreographers and principal dancers in the company, and have been honored for their accomplishments with the National Prize for Dance in Spain, where they are considered Living Cultural Treasures.

Castro Romero Flamenco and their company Suite Española have toured extensively in Europe, Asia and Latin America. We are very pleased to bring them back to the San Francisco Bay Area, after a long absence. Six dancers and an outstanding ensemble of musicians will perform original musical compositions and choreographies.
Rosario and Ricardo Castro Romero recently finished choreographing the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet for Moscow’s famous Bolshoi Theatre, where they also danced as soloists to sell out audiences.
